GUEST ARTIST TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Independent Contractor Status
The guest artist acknowledges and agrees that:
They are an independent contractor renting space only.
This agreement does not create an employer/employee relationship with the studio.
The studio is not responsible for taxes, workers’ compensation, benefits, payroll deductions, client payments, or supervision of their work.
2. Indemnification
The guest artist agrees to:
Hold the studio, its owners, managers, employees, and affiliates harmless and indemnify them against any claims, fines, penalties, legal costs, or damages related to:
Violations of federal, provincial, or municipal laws arising out of their actions
Claims by any third party arising from the guest artist’s activities
Unauthorized work/Immigration Status
3. Professional Conduct & Compliance
The guest artist agrees to:
Comply with all provincial health and safety regulations, sterilization standards, and municipal bylaws governing tattoo services.
Maintain appropriate professional liability insurance and provide proof upon request.
5. Fees
All rental fees are due as outlined in the booking policy and are to be paid directly to the studio
Invoices will be auto-generated each week, for your reserved days during the week prior.
6. Right to Work & Immigration Compliance
The guest artist confirms that:
They have the legal right to work in Canada
They agree they are fully responsible for maintaining their own immigration compliance and status.
They will not perform any services at the studio unless they are legally authorized to do so in Canada.
They are solely responsible for ensuring they hold and maintain the appropriate immigration status and documentation required to enter and work in Canada.
• The studio does not provide immigration advice, sponsorship, invitation letters, or guarantees of entry to Canada.
8. Acknowledgment
By submitting this request, the guest artist confirms they have read, understood, and agree to these terms.
