a simple vision…
Established in 2022, La Maison Studio was created by tattoo artist and founder, Lauren Smith, also known as Loz.
After years of working across a range of studios, Loz felt there was an opportunity to create something more considered. Her vision was to build a space in Vancouver that felt intentional in every detail, one that moves away from the conventional studio model and instead offers a more elevated, refined experience.
La Maison was designed to feel warm, calm and thoughtfully curated, where both artists and clients feel at ease from the moment they walk in. The studio places equal importance on the creative process and the environment it happens within, encouraging a slower, more personal approach to tattooing.
At its core, La Maison is about connection. It is a space that supports artists in doing their best work, while creating a meaningful and comfortable experience for every client who comes through its doors.

the EVOLUTION
In just a few years, the studio has bloomed and is now home to more than 12 resident artists and a number of guests hailing from across the globe. Establishing a strong foothold in Vancouver’s tattoo scene, La Maison has solidified its reputation as one of Vancouver’s premier tattoo spaces.
From flash day events, to markets, conventions and more - La Maison seeks to connect with the wider community and celebrate art in all its forms.
